PUT BACK INTO THE ENVIRONMENT

New for 2010, we have introduced a scheme to put something back into the environment. We are working closely with Trees for Life, an organisation whose intention is to re-establish areas, or 'islands', of healthy young forest scattered throughout the barren, deforested glens of Scotland. As these new trees reach seed-bearing age they will form the nuclei for an expanded natural regeneration in the surrounding area.

To date, more than half a million Scots pine and native broadleaf tree seedlings have been planted by Trees for Life staff and hundreds of volunteers from many parts of the world. We intend to contribute toward their excellent hard work.

We have already set up a Grove where we intend to plant many trees in the future.
